PHOTOGRAPHS THAT CELEBRATE OUR WORLD

(AND SUPPORT A MESSENGER'S MISSION)

You'll look at yours and know that you've helped the woman behind the lens...

The following images are some of my most cherished. By purchasing a digital copy of one, or more, of my favourite fieldwork photos, YOU are helping to support the work of an independent documentarian.

How it works and how you can HELP:

Zebras Truquoise-in frame.jpg

1. Scan the Collections > 2. Choose your Photo > 3. Make a Donation & Specify Your Chosen Photo > 4. Check your inbox (your photo will arrive shortly).

Use at it your screensaver when you need a change of scene, print it (limited to once to respect the work and preserve the authenticity of the donation) as a conversation starter around the dinner table, or gift it (nicely framed please;) to a loved one.

With each purchase (or donation above $30) you will receive a full-resolution (10x15) digital photo of your choosing. Every image, taken by me during my expeditions, will be signed with a personal message of gratitude to always remind you that your photo is making a difference out in the field.

A few kind words from the people I've gifted my images to as a thank you for their support when I launched my mission more than a decade ago:

"The photo print you gifted me is very special to me. I look at it often. I've hung it in my main living area and get many questions about it." - Amanda MF (Canada)

"The images are hanging in my living room. I love having them here in my new home, I look at them ever day." - CBC Newsroom colleague (Canada)

UNITING OUR GLOBAL COMMUNITY

pic one sample.jpg

FOR THE LOVE OF GLOBAL CULTURES & SURVIVAL

When I met with members of the San community in Namibia in  2015, they spoke to me about their concerns and fear for their cultural survival. Evicted from their traditional lands, forbidden from practicing their sustainable hunting practices and being forced to "modernize," to adapt to the ways of the urban and present-day society meant that their Indigenous culture was very likely to be on the brink of extinction. "20 years" said Junta, one of the San Tribesman I spoke with.

I documented a snippet of their story, and it's a reality, awareness and conversation that needs to keep going. I honour my brief time spent with you...may your voices resonate,  inform and inspire many generations to come.
