Welcome aboard!
On most nights, I go to bed thinking how incredibly fortunate I have been, and am, to be surrounded by so many amazing and wonderful people...those who have supported me and my projects - no matter how unorthodox my ideas may have seemed at the time.
"Give up a steady job and a salary to travel the world alone to document and share the stories of people few ever talk about?" Crazy right? Well no, not to me...not at all!
I may not have much money, a steady life, a home, cars or the many of the things that many people put value on in life - but I have the opportunity to do what I think is right, what I believe in, no matter the obstacles, to contribute something, to the best of my ability, no matter how big or small!
For years, I have worked in the field on my own...but I am never truly alone, while being constantly reminded of the beauty, generosity and goodwill of people!
Most of it comes from those who are unable to leave their homes, families, or work but who want to help and get involved in the work that I do, the issues that I learn about, and the little things that can be done to help others. My reach doesn't go very far (it's just me after all), but what we can do together has great potential! From raising awareness about the lives neglected people around the world, to putting a smile on someone's face - simply, because we can! Below is the beginning of a list of a projects that I'm creating and inviting you to support and join. Some will evolve and others created as I trek along. Friends, the little things can make a big difference at times!

The "SMILE PROJECTS" section is being devoted to the little ideas that pop into my head as I travel. They may be simple, generally a ton of fun, and an opportunity for us to brighten someone's day along the way!

PRINTED PHOTO Surprise
Millions of people around the world don't have family albums or printed images of themselves, their friends, or those precious little moments in life - mostly due to a lack of resources. Let's surprise them with the gift of a print! I may not be the greatest photographer on the planet, but I do take pictures - lots of them! Many of which, I love! If I feel that way about some of the images I capture, hopefully my beautiful subjects will love them too!

"PRO'DZEKT": AKA THE BIG ONE
PRO’DZEKT is the successor of One Year One World (OYOW, launched in 2009). Inspired by OYOW, the objective remains the same: To amplify the voices of communities and people who lack the resources to be heard globally. The approach and production of PRO'DZEKT, however, differs from OYOW. Unlike my previous (independent) work with OYOW, PRO'DZEKT will seek to:

create an outlet for a collection of voices from around the world, through a collaborative effort with fellow VJs and travellers,

build a community of people sharing a profound interest in the wellbeing and future of the world's most vulnerable communities,

involve people who may wish to participate in the project as regional ambassadors,

document and share global message produced according to a simple and effective formula based on one straightforward but powerful question:
