A COVID-19 VIDEO SERIES (PROPOSAL)

A series of frank and intimate human stories about the true impact of the coronavirus pandemic

as it is being experienced in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

By Maggie Padlewska

Jan. 25, 2020

This global COVID-19 scenario has stopped what we considered normal in its tracks, thus forcing many of us to pause. Unable to continue my one-woman-crew globe trekking documentarian

journey, my goal is to devote this time to re-amplifying the issues that have marked me

profoundly...

After more than a decade of solo expeditions, observations and discussions with countless people from various backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures around the world, I am constantly in awe of our fascinating human collective. Far more similar than different, we often share the same goals, aspirations and concerns for the present moment, and our future.

The goal of this series is to present important but often overlooked human and animal rights and environmental issues, and to discuss them frankly by boiling them down to their most simple form. By removing the layers that often stall change, this series aims to demystify problems that often have very clear solutions.
